WHAT WE OFFER: We offer KITEKAHUNAS Wave Camps - pure wave kitesurfing pleasure for 2 weeks including accommodation and transport from downwinders - a complete peace-of-mind holiday package. New to wave kitesurfing? No problem, you participate with your twin-tip board and you can book lessons during the Wave Camp.
Kitesurfing Beginners, who really want to learn this fantastic sport in a crash course, can book our popular A+B Kitesurfing Beginner Courses. It will make you a real, fully independent kitesurfer within 2 weeks.
We also offer for kitesurfers or windsurfers accommodation with storage and breakfast in our neighbour Luxury Cape Town Kitesurfing Guest Houses mostly directly on the beach and some with sea view rooms.
Our other advanced freeride/freestyle kitesurfing courses (learning to jump, rotation tricks, unhooked tricks) are only available this season in exceptional cases or for small groups - but you can also take freeride/freestyle lessons during our KITEKAHUNAS Wave Camps.

WHO WE ARE: Kitekahunas - Advanced Kitesurfing School - is based directly on the renowned Sunset Beach / Cape Town, at the beginning of famous Blouberg Beach, South Africa’s premier kitesurfing spot. Kitekahunas is undoubtedly one of the best kitesurfing schools in the world.
It is directed by German Speed Kitesurfing Champ Wolfram Reiners.
Cape Town is different than most other kitesurfing locations in the world. Kitesurfing in Cape Town is about variety. This is why most of the best professional kitesurfers are in Cape Town during our season. Cape Town offers more than 30 superb kitesurfing beaches with a huge variety of conditions: flat water, world-class downwind passages, small waves, high waves, warm and cool water ... From October till March the wind blows better than anywhere in the world. We visit some of these kitesurfing spots during your kitesurfing course or during the KITEKAHUNAS Wave Camps. You can live in one of the apartments in the beautiful Kitekahunas Beach House directly on Sunset Beach or in one of our neighbouring Luxury Kitesurfing Guest Housese.

Kitesurfing is a lifestyle…This intensive 5 day course takes you from a complete novice to a confident, skilled and totally independent kitesurfer, covering all aspects of the sport.
Initially run along similar lines as a three day course we will go on to cover:
In depth advanced theory of wind, weather, sea state, beach safety and equipment
Advanced equipment set up and tuning for any condition plus equipment care and repair
Advanced board skills including controlled edging and weight distribution for upwind riding and stopping

In good conditions an advanced pilot can launch 20-40 feet above the water and soar for up to seven seconds. One of the rushes of the sport is in catching the air and flying. With kiteboarding, you're hanging for football field lengths in the air. It is such a kick because you can spin, flip or just fly. Despite the glamour of the media, you do not have to boost huge air to have a great time kite surfing. Many people enjoy just ripping through the water and working on more technical tricks of the sport.
Wind Wizards has partnered with, Chris Moore, one of the top instructors in the world to bring you the country's best instruction and guidance. Working with thousands of students from many different parts of the US, Chris has a lot of knowledge of different kites and boards across the wide range of manufacturers.
